Night School: Building a Reflective Democracy - The Story of Us and Now

This night school focuses what it means to build a reflective democracy, from voters to candidates to campaign staffers - a government that reflects the lived needs and experiences of all Americans, not just the wealthy, white, or privileged, where all the best and brightest have the ability to run and lead.

We’ll learn about why so many Democratic institutions reinforce a "good old boys network", and how these gatekeeper networks fail candidates and voters of color AND lose elections. We’ll also share some with powerful case studies of the path forward in the time of Trump, where values-driven organizing through a lens of racial and economic justice  transformed the electorate and made big gains at the ballot box.
